Labor Day is next weekend, so if you’re kids haven’t started school yet, they will be soon. My kids are already on their third week of school, and our schedules are getting very busy with homework, sports, and other after-school activities. It is becoming even more important for me to schedule quick and easy meals.
An easy way to do that is to schedule at least one night a week of a traditional breakfast meal. It’s usually quick and easy to get on the table, and my family enjoys the change in the menu. This week, I’m actually adding two days of breakfast to our dinner menu, and one night of eating out. Seems like everything is starting all at once!
Other breakfast items to consider:
- Banana Coffee Cake
- Chocolate Chip Banana Mini Muffins
- Cinnamon Rolls
- Creamed Eggs
- Pancakes – my experience with Bisquick Gluten-Free Mix or Pamela’s GF Baking Mix
- Potato Farls
- Tropical Fruit Salad
The Gluten-Free Menu Swap roundup will be included below. Don’t forget to check it for more gluten-free menus and breakfast ideas.
