Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free Creamy Dill Salad Dressing Recipe — Menu Plan May 29

The Gluten-Free Menu Swap theme this month is Salad Dressings. So far this month, we’ve shared recipe links for Vinaigrettes, Non-Dairy Creamy Dressings, and Sweet and Sour Dressings.

But, as I was going through all the salad dressings on my recipe page, I noticed that my Creamy Dill Dressing Recipe is not dairy-free or sugar-free. So, I decided it was time for a recipe re-do. This is so quick and easy. I made it with ingredients I always have in the house. I usually keep a can of coconut milk in the refrigerator, so that’s what I used for this recipe. Everything else was in the pantry. Just dump ingredients in a blender and it’s done in just a few minutes.

Quick and Easy Non-Dairy Creamy Garlic Dill Dressing

1 Can (13.66 oz) Coconut Milk (full-fat milk, refrigerated overnight)
1 tsp salt
2 tsp garlic powder
1 TBSP dried dill weed
1-3 tsp cider vinegar (adjust for desired consistency)

  1. Place all ingredients in an electric blender and blend well on high.
  2. Keep chilled.

Additional Notes:

  • This makes a great dip for raw veggies, crackers, chips, etc., but omit the vinegar completely for a thicker consistency.
  • I find that the blender helps get a smooth consistency to the coconut milk and dressing, but feel free to whisk it together in a bowl.
  • Makes about 2 Cups.
