Gluten-Free Meals with Fresh Mint — Menu Plan September 18

We’re cooking with Fresh Herbs at the Gluten-Free Menu Swap this month. This week, we’re sharing recipe links and ideas for using Fresh Mint. 

Mint is the easiest herb for me to grow. In fact, once it gets in the garden, it’s hard to control. I’ve grown it in pots both outside and inside with good results.

There are some great benefits to eating mint. Anyone with a sensitive tummy should know that mint is great for digestion and is known to relieve gas and bloating. I always have mint tea at our house. Some people also believe that mint can increase mental alertness. So you might want to keep some mint gum or candy at hand in the car, desk at work, or maybe in your school backpack. 🙂
