It’s Back-to-School Month at the Gluten-Free Menu Swap. This week, I’m exploring new recipes for Smoothies for a quick and filling breakfast or after-school snack.
Smoothies are a great option for a quick breakfast for your tweens and teens that are heading out the door for school. Just make sure the smoothie has a little fat and protein (nut butters, almond milk, avocado, etc.) to go with fruit and veggies, and it will give your kids all the nutrients they need for a great start to their day.
Smoothies also make great after-school snacks, healthy desserts, and even a boost of fiber and nutrition for an evening meal. Here are some yummy healthy smoothies that I’m anxious to try.
