Gluten-Free Snacks — Menu Plan August 21

By · Print This Post Print This Post

Back to School is the theme at the Gluten-Free Menu Swap this month. This week, we’re sharing our ideas for Gluten-Free Snacks.

My kids always need a little extra energy at the beginning of the school year. So, I like to have something quick and easy for them to eat when they get home. It gives them a little a break from schoolwork before they get started on their homework or head out the door for activities.

Last week, I mentioned some snacks in our Ideas for Packing a Gluten-Free Lunch. This week, I thought I’d share a few more snack ideas. Fresh fruit and vegetables are probably the easiest healthy snacks to have ready. I know a big juicy slice of watermelon would keep my kids from reaching for the cookies or the candy bowl. They’ll also enjoy these snacks:
