Gluten-Free Sweet Treats — Menu Plan December 11

Hope you are all enjoying the holiday season and feeling well. For the Gluten-Free Menu Swap this month, we’re continuing the Happy Healthy Holiday theme. This week, we’re finding healthy sweet treats.

Since we’re busy with holiday activities, our meals this week will be simple, quick and easy. The only new recipes we might be trying this week are sweets. Since I’m trying to keep our foods a little healthier than the usual, I’ll use less sugar but add ingredients that are beneficial for good health.  Those ingredients may have more fiber, more vitamins, anti-inflammatory benefits, or even immune boosters to keep us healthy through the holidays.

I found a variety of recipes that can accommodate a variety of diets. All of the recipes are Gluten-Free (GF) and Dairy-Free (DF). In addition, some of these recipes are Paleo (P), and/or Vegan (V). Most of these recipes are also free of refined sugar, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t sweet and satisfying. Can’t wait to try some of them!
