Thanks for joining us once again. As the year comes to an end, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all of our hosts and contributors of the Gluten-Free Menu Swap this year: Angela of Angela’s Kitchen (who also graciously contributes her time to create the weekly artwork, too), Cheryl at Gluten Free Goodness, Melissa at Mom’s Plans, Amanda at Gluten-Free Detroit Metro, Emily at Our Frugal Happy Life, Paige at Not Missing a Thing!, Renee of Beyond Rice and Tofu, Kimberlee at The Peaceful Mom, Samantha at Awkward Girl Gets Fit, Elisabeth at The Girl Who Couldn’t Eat Anything, Lisa at Extraordinary Life, Fawn at Dietz Eatz, Lori at GlutenFreeWeek, and Erin from Little E’s Kitchen.

Together, we’ve shared gluten-free meal ideas for fruits and vegetables, meats, sweets, holiday dishes, and more. If you didn’t see them the first time the roundups were posted, take a look and see what you missed. Following are just some of the more popular gluten-free menu themes for 2013. For the full list, you can browse the Gluten-Free Menu Swap Schedule for past themes. We hope you’ll join us and share your own ideas in 2014!

Mom’s Plans: Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free Menu
Melissa is planning to fill the freezer again this week. I love the plans she has for potatoes and kale this week: Potato, Kale and Sausage Soup and Mashed Potato and Kale Cakes. The rest of her week looks pretty good, too: Slow-Cooker Sausage & Peppers, Southwestern Chicken Soup, Chicken Chili with Pesto, and Sloppy Joe’s. Don’t forget to check out her full menu for all the recipe links.

The Girl Who Couldn’t Eat Anything: eating without Gluten, Dairy, Peanuts, Oats, or Meat
This week, Elisabeth is sharing her favorite recipe modifications from the past year for Potato SoupStrawberry ShortcakeApple Dumplings and Lemon Curd. She also has some great breakfast ideas to share for Paleo Breakfast Cookies, Chocolate Chip Muffins, and Healthy Banana Donuts. For dinners, she’ll be trying my Egg Rolls with Fried Rice and Chicken, Chicken Nuggets, Pizza, and Smoothies.

Check back later to see who else may be joining the menu swap this week.
