Healthier Gluten-Free Cookies — Menu Plan December 4

Aaaaggh!! It’s December! There is no denying that we are in the midst of the holiday season, and life is getting a little busier with holiday activities. For the Gluten-Free Menu Swap this month, we’ll be building on last year’s Happy Healthy Holiday themes. This week, we’re starting with Cookies.

During the busy holidays, we sometimes let our healthy eating habits slide into whatever is easiest to grab. And that includes indulging in all the goodies that the season brings. Take a little time to plan a healthy meal and make some healthy, but satisfying, holiday treats, too. You’ll enjoy the tastes of the holiday, but you’ll still have good energy from healthy foods to enjoy all of the holiday excitement.

This week, we’re looking at making some yummy, but healthier gluten-free cookies to keep our bodies and our spirits bright. “Healthier” may mean different things to different people, so I’ve found a variety of recipes that can accommodate a variety of different diets. All of the recipes are Gluten-Free (GF) and Dairy-Free (DF). In addition, some of these recipes are Paleo (P), and/or Vegan (V). Most of these recipes are also free of refined sugar, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t sweet and satisfying. I hope you find some yummy recipes to tempt you. Give one or two of them a try, and let me know how they turned out! I can’t try all of them myself. 🙂
