Radish is the theme for this week’s Gluten-Free Menu Swap. Thank you to Manda at Asparagus Thin for hosting this week. I don’t eat radishes very often. In fact, I can only remember eating them raw in salads or from vegetable trays. So, join me as I head on over to Asparagus Thin this week find out more about the radish and maybe some new ideas for eating it.
Tuesday – Chili
Making a tomato-based chili with hamburger and kidney beans. I’ll throw in some green chiles and corn, too. Serving with cornbread.
Wednesday – Grilled Chicken Breasts
Chicken Breasts simply seasoned and grilled. Topped with a slice of pepper jack cheese and avocado. Serving with potato farls and green beans.
Thursday – Grilled Steaks
Grilling steaks and serving with acorn squash and a tossed green salad.
Saturday – Pizza
Making pizza and serving with a tossed green salad. I haven’t decided what to do for the crust yet. I’ll have to check out the pizza roundup at Gluten Free Is Life. Or maybe I’ll try making one with the Cheese Bread recipe from Gluten Free Gobsmacked.
Sunday – Chicken Divan
Chicken and broccoli baked in a curry mushroom sauce. Serving with brown basmati rice.
