Menu Plan February 21

Michelle at Gluten-Free Smiles is hosting the Gluten Free Menu Swap again. This week her chosen ingredient is Garlic. We love garlic in my house. Just the smell of it cooking, brings everyone to the kitchen to ask what’s for dinner. When I try new recipes that call for garlic, I almost always double the amount listed. But, I don’t often use a whole bulb of garlic in a meal like Michelle does! πŸ™‚

In my menu this week, I’ll use garlic in the Flank Steak marinade, the White Chicken Chili, and the Broccoli Mushroom Casserole. But you’ll also find garlic in the following recipes as well:

Salmon with a Balsamic Glaze

Garlic Shrimp Pasta

Red Beans and Rice

Celiac Family’s Menu This Week:

Monday - Flank Steak, Baked Potatoes, Steamed Broccoli

Tuesday - White Chicken Chili, Corn Tortillas

Wednesday - Pork and Veggie Egg Rolls, Rice

Thurs. - Cilantro Lime Shrimp, Corn and Black Bean Salad

Friday - Broccoli Mushroom Bake, Roasted Chicken, Rice


Saturday – Eating Out

Sunday – Leftovers!

You make us drool every week with your menu plan, Heather! Your family is very lucky. πŸ™‚ Oh, and I agree on the garlic … always double the amount, but not as much as a whole bulb in a recipe (well, most of the time … garlic chicken is an exception). πŸ˜‰



I have already eaten and yet I feel hungry again just looking at the pictures of all those delicious food. Using garlic does bring out the taste in cooking. Just remember to use mouthwash after eating… πŸ™‚
