Cabbage is the theme ingredient at the Gluten-Free Menu Swap this week. Thanks to Wendy at Celiacs in the House for hosting. I don’t eat a lot of cabbage, so I don’t always have it around. I do, however, often add it to Asian foods like Egg Rolls and Stir Fry, and cold salads and slaws. Check out how other gluten free bloggers are using cabbage this week at Celiacs in the House.

Monday – Grilled Salmon
My dad’s trying out a Bobby Flay recipe for grilled salmon with mustard barbecue sauce that was posted in the Parade magazine last weekend. For a baked salmon recipe, check out my guest post at GingerLemonGirl.com for Baked Salmon with Dill.
Wednesday – Sam & Louie’s Pizza
We’ll be trying gluten-free pizza at Sam & Louie’s New York Pizzeria. I’ve heard the pizza is very good, but haven’t had a chance to try it yet. They currently have locations in Nebraska and Iowa, and offer gluten-free pizza at all 15 locations.
Friday – Egg Rolls
Making pork and cabbage filled egg rolls and serving with rice. (I use rice papers for the wrappers, so they are gluten free.) I’ll also pick up a box of A Taste of Thai’s fortune cookies for fun! Have you seen them yet? They are gluten free, and are rolled instead of folded like traditional fortune cookies. They have a nice toasted coconut flavor, which is better than the traditional cookies.
Saturday – Leftovers
Probably serving pulled pork leftovers. Or, whatever we can find to heat up quickly.
