Monthly Menu Plan – September

The kids are back in school, and I want to make the most of my time. I’m getting a jump start on my menu planning by making a plan for the month. I find that when I plan for the entire month, I avoid getting into a rut of eating the same foods over and over again. I’m sure it will change during the month as our interest and activities change, so I will continue to post our weekly menus with the Gluten-Free Menu Swap.

September Menu Plan

1- Leftovers. What a way to start the month! :)
2- Breakfast for dinner. Waffles, bacon, Berry Fruit Salad [3]

3- Herb Garden Chicken (Stephanie’s Slow-Cooker recipe [4]), red potatoes
4- Hamburgers, Fried Zucchini & Sweet Potato Chips (Karina’s recipe [5])
5- Chicken Tacos – Slow-Cooked Shredded Chicken
6- Baked Salmon [6] and Ratatouille (from Eat Like a Dinosaur [7])
7- Pizza (Linda’s Recipe for a Zucchini Crust [8])
8- Leftovers
9- Eating Out

10- Crock Pot Fajitas (Angela’s Recipe [9])
11- Grilled Chicken, Quinoa and Broccoli
12- Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry
13- Pulled Pork [10] (from the freezer), Sweet Potatoes, Green Beans
14- Shrimp Cocktail, Quinoa and Broccoli
15- Tuscan Chicken, Roasted Potato Wedges, Spinach Salad
16- leftovers

17- Chili and Cornbread
18- Fish Tacos, Avocado Salsa
19- Hamburgers, Sweet Potato Fries, Garlic Spinach
20- Indian Chicken, Quinoa
21- Teriyaki Salmon, Baked Brown Rice, Broccoli
22- Chicken Nuggets, Corn, Kale Chips

24- Pork Chops with Black Beans [11] and Salsa
25- Chicken Teriyaki, Rice, Broccoli
26- Pizza, Spinach Salad
27- Grilled Steaks, Twice Baked Potatoes, Spinach Salad
28- Tilapia Parmesan [12], Rice Noodles and Asparagus
